IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. I literaly sat down the entire time withm y mouth either wide open (we had orchestra seats so sstanding was kind of not a thing anyways) or in a doofy grin.. Or this awkward mix of both. I had the most amazing feeling throughout my whole body. Like, fuck, guys. This was the closest to seeing my favorite band as I will ever get and it was so perfect. It was honestly a lot like the feeling of morphine going through my body when I got hurt last summer.

Seriously HOOOLYY SHIT. We had pretty good seats, though with where we were and the lights (WHICH WERE AWESOME) I was unable to get any kinds of pictures.

They had, as Mark said, “A baseball teams worth of artists” on stage and it was cool. There were 4 singers (the drummer sang too, though, which was impressive as fuck) and just fuck, dude. It was great.

It was so very.. Queen! Seriously, everyone just acted and moved around the stage just as they would have. It was not a copy of any particular show, but rather a showcasing of what Queen was and is. And they nailed it.

Mark sounded even better live, though all of them sounded really great (Jennifer Espinosa was the only female and oh my goodness, I did not realize what an amazing artist and overall woman she is). If you closed your eyes it honestly sounded like I was sitting in front of my bby Freddie.

They had a wonderful screenshow as well, and everything was very powerful. The setlist was pretty predictable, though they through in some of their lesser-known stuff too which was nice. I teared up at Who wants to Live Forever & The Show Must Go On, because they presented them so strongly.

Thee only thing I didn’t like was the people behind us. It was a group of 3 kids about my age hen these 2 older women. The older women kept insulting Jennifer, saying things like “Ew, they’re letting the chick sing again” “Get the girl off!” When she did a great job. Also one of them had the worst voice. Like wow I have never hated a voice so much. They talked also, through Who Wants to Live Forever (The entire song) about how “they should step this up a notch” and how “they could never BE Queen” and how it just wasn’t “Queen enough” and I wanted to laugh at them because THE LIVING MEMBERS OF QUEEN PUT THIS TOGETHER DURRR. And also how could any person who claims to be a fan of queen talk through that song? It’s so.. I can’t.

The kids behind me had me almost embarrassed for my entire generation. Every other song they played that wasn’t the like, 4 hits everyone knows, “I DON’T KNOW THIS” “I’VE NEVER HEARD THIS SONG IN MY ENTIRE LIFE” Okay so shut up and enjoy them??

But yeah. Amazing experience. Amazing people. Also, I got a sweet ass t-shirt. i’ll post a picture either later or tomorrow. YEP.

YOU DO NOT GET MORE EXCITED THAN I AM RIGHT NOW

Every day since the tour’s dates came out, I remind myself somehow (usually one of their songs comes out) that Queen is coming here. And I am going. There really isn’t anyone who gets how amazing that is for me (though my friend I’m taking loves Queen as well) but Queen is seriously my favorite band. And while I may not get to see Freddie, this is the closest I will get to it, and I know that the boys have put together only the best for him.

I’m really really pumped thinking about the songs they’ll do. There’s of course the hands down choices, but I’m also not sure what they’re doing for back up vocals are going to be (If any of the original boys sing/play I will LOSE MY SHIT KDSFDFGFGH) so that kind of makes it hard to say, though the website for the tour had some listed (Radio Gaga was on there, and I hope it will be like when I saw Almost queen, and that every single person in that stadium does the arm thing<33)

I really hope he does Who wants to Live forever and omg I will be bawling like a baby by the end of this concert.

And they were actually pretty damn good (I take queen tributes as they since NO ONE is Freddie, though that Canadian guy is close but w/e)

And they played Radio Ga Ga which is one of my favorites

And very single person in the place did the “arm thing”
